Our unique Model Practice Eye can be used for demonstration and training in:
binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy
non-contact fundus biomicroscopy.
The Model Practice Eye is made of a synthetic rubber which closely resembles the human eye size and shape and the flexibility and texture of the sclera. The lens and pupil arrangement simulate the optics of the human eye, thus permitting a reasonable approximation of the living eye as seen through the indidrect ophthalmoscope.
The model eye is available in pupil diameters of : 2, 4, 6, and 8 mm.
The fundus of each eye is individually hand painted showing the macula, veins, arteries, ciliary nerves, and the ora serrata. Certain pathologies
